Glasgow Blind Asylum,

The Blind Asylum by William Landless was built in 1879,the style of the building is Franco/Flemish. The spire being of particular interest with its many carvings and  five clock faces.

The statue of Christ healing a blind boy in prayer dates from 1882 and is by Charles Gassby.

The Asylum became part of the Royal Infirmary in 1940,it has subsequently been converted into apartment's.

Duke Street Hoospital

 Duke Street hospital, formerly known as Eastern District.

The architect was A Hessell Tiltman built in 1904 in a French Renaissance style in red sandstone.

The building is currently vacant with an unknown future.
