The Sixty Steps
The Sixty Steps, are located in Glasgow's West End. The steps were designed by Alexander "Greek" Thomson, a once pominient Glasgow architect. The steps date from the 1870's, and are still very much in use today. At the top of the stairs, there is a walled area, which also has a small garden.

Walchern Barracks
Walchern Barracks in the West end of Glasgow was originally built as a drill hall for the Glasgow Highlanders.
The architect was John Laird and son 1938/39.
The building is still used by the military as an army reserve centre.

7th Cameroonian Former HQ and Drill Hall, Coplaw Street, Glasgow.
Designed by James Craig & Barr and opened in 1912. It is in a Scots Baronial style and comprises a single-storey and attic, 4-bay.
The original drill hall was subsequently demolished leaving only the Coplaw Street extension standing. The extension was converted to a leisure centre in 1984 and then converted to apartments in 2001.
