Port Dundas

"Dookets" (or "doocots") is a Scottish word for a dovecote (a house for doves/pigeons).

During the 60s and  70s doocots were a familiar sight in working class schemes, usually made from wood and often looking like patchwork quilts with an odd assortment collection of wood.
