Drill Hall Berkley Street

Victorian drill hall squashed between two sandstone tenements, unusual as most brick buildings at the time were factories and warehouses.

The building was used by the Sikh community as a palace of worship.

The building can be found on Berkley Street.

Science Centre Tower

Glasgow Science Centre claims its tower is the "only structure on earth capable of rotating 360 degrees into the prevailing wind".

During a trip to the tower visitors can watch footage of how the local area has changed and learn about the science behind the structure.

It was originally planned to have the tower in St Enochs Square,a real shame that it was moved to Pacific Quay as the view from the top is uninspiring .

The tower has been plagued with technical faults since the day it opened .

A video of the journey up the tower.
