Glasgow Cross Train Station
Glasgow Cross railway station closed on October 5, 1964, as part of the widespread closures of the Glasgow Central Low Level lines, though the line itself remained open and was later electrified as part of the Argyle Line, with trains still passing under the site.

Chrystal Bell and Co
Chrystal Bell and Co 31 Gallowgate,pub and tenement built by James Hamilton. Built circa 1880. 3-storey and attic corner tenement Italianate style, arcaded windows with pilastered jambs/mullions, round-arched at 1st floor, stilted segmental arches above; main cornice, attic windows above at curved corner and regularly placed facing Watson Street; short elevation to Gallowgate. Distinctive glazing pattern with casements.

Carmunnock Parish Church
There has been a Christian presence in Carmunnock Parish for 1500 years. The current church sits in the footprint of its predecessor in 1769 and is a unique survivor of the traditional 18C Presbyterian T plan church within the Glasgow boundary
